Anyone who went for a walk in the Eduardo VII Park area in Lisbon in recent days was surprised by what they found there.

At the top of the park, in an unusual way and without any prior announcement, three bears mysteriously appeared.

The bears aren’t real, don’t worry, it’s a sculpture by the Portuguese artist ‘Superlinox’.

The sculpture is named “2024 Press Conference” and the three bears that make it up are painted green, yellow and red, that is, the colors of the Portuguese flag.

There are those who are playing with Politics. There are those who are playing with everything. There are those who are not playing with Nothing. These are the three of the airy life”, said ‘Superlinox’ on Instagram, without providing any justification for the choice of the piece.

But, it seems, the sculpture could be a reference to the logo on the official pages of the XXIV Government and the Portuguese Republic.

As you may still remember, when the New Government took office it changed the logo to the one that existed before the change made by the previous Government, which got people talking on social media.

What is certain is that the moment is already taking place on social media and several users wanted to mark the moment with one, or several, photographs.

The Portuguese artist ‘Superlinox’, whose identity is not known, was not the only artist who spoke out in recent days. Bordalo II also placed an “anti-fascist medicine” on the grave of António de Oliveira Salazar.
