A The clutch is one of the most expensive car wear components to replace. Therefore, the more you take care of it, the later you will be forced to buy a new one because the old one is worn out. Not always keeping your left foot on the pedal or not accelerating while the clutch pedal is low are some of the things you should not do to avoid wearing out this component.
But how do we know that our car’s clutch is giving out? According to tips from the newspaper El Motor, just take the car to a flat place with no obstacles. Then, shift to high gear, fifth or sixth, and release the pedal.
If the car’s engine, under these conditions, does not stall, it is probably because its clutch is in its final stages of life.
