Market analyst at Millennium Investment Banking, Ramiro Loureiro, states that “Wall Street is preparing to start lower, conditioned by the revelation that companies in the US accelerated the pace of job creation in March and that the wage bill rose 10 % compared to the same month in 2023, the biggest increase since July. Despite the potential positive impact on the economy, investors fear that this labor strength could generate pressure on the desired drop in inflation, dampening expectations of a drop in interest rates, a condition for stock markets”.

“The effect is also visible in the upward movement of yields of sovereign debt. In the business world, Intel’s decline should be noted following the revelation that difficulties in its production unit continue. The earthquake that hit Taiwan shakes TSMC. In analyst reviews, upgrades that encourage SoFi Technologies and UPS stand out”, highlights the analyst.
