Luiz Bacci despairs with a man being swallowed by a current live: “The guy died”

The host Luiz Bacci was screaming live this Tuesday (14) during the City Alert on Record when covering the case of a boy drowning and being carried away by the current. The case happened in São Paulo, where heavy rains caused flooding in some parts of the capital.

With the channel’s helicopter monitoring the flooding, the communicator was shocked to see the scene he was showing to viewers: “Look at this, people. São Paulo Fire Department, see if this is possible. The boy is going to die there in the middle of the water”, he began.

“There isn’t a boat to help the population, the guy is being dragged, the guy was dragged, he disappeared in the middle of the water, for God’s sake. I’ve been here for half an hour screaming ‘up the police helicopter, up the firefighter helicopter, put on the lifeboat, lieutenant, you don’t put it on, you don’t put it on”, continued the presenter, desperate.

Afterwards, the journalist even assumed the boy’s death, when he saw him with his head lowered seconds after being swallowed by the current. “For the love of God, this is happening live, the guy is dying live, Brazil. It’s not possible that the Secretary of Public Security is watching this and doing nothing. This is a shame. The guy died, apparently the guy died and nobody does absolutely nothing. It’s just me screaming here”, vented Luiz Bacci.

On the occasion, the presenter spoke about a kidnapping suffered by an app driver in a shopping mall in São Paulo. “I would like to send a big hug to my friend, Luiz Bacci, who is watching us, always watching us”he began.
