Bruna Gomes and Bernardo Sousa They are officially husband and wife. The couple exchanged rings in Funchal on March 26th and only their closest family and a few friends were present for the civil wedding.
The digital influencer was surprised by the presence of her mother and sister who came from Brazil on purpose for the big day, but the father was unable to come to his daughter’s wedding. However, he made a point of offering a special gift to the bride and groom. In the video she shared of the wedding on YouTube, Bruna explained: “My father couldn’t come, he was left to deal with everything there in Brazil”, she said.
After having signed the papers that made the wedding official, the couple then received the gifts sent by the bride’s father: a personalized bracelet for Bruna and a necklace for Bernardo. “This bracelet says ‘the Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want’. That is, Psalm 23 if I’m not mistaken. It’s our wedding gift. For Bernardo, it is a protective scapular. It is the Sacred Heart of Jesus to protect us,” he stated.
