A Infanta Sofía of Spain celebrates her 17th birthday tomorrow, April 29th.
The youngest daughter of Felipe VI and Letizia – who is also the youngest of the eight grandchildren of kings emeritus Juan Carlos and Sofía – was named in honor of her paternal grandmother and the Spanish Crown hopes that she will be a support for her sister, the Princess Leonor, when she assumes the throne.
For now, the young infanta studies at UWC Atlantic College, in Wales, where she should continue next academic year.
