Ana Garcia Martins, better known as ‘Pipoca Mais Doce’, was distinguished, for the eighth time, as one of the 25 most influential women in Portugal, an award promoted every year by ‘Executiva’. “It’s a big responsibility, but I try to remove some of that burden of being an influential person, because I’m still trying to understand what my possible influence consists of”, started by telling ‘Boa Onda’. And he added: “I try to do it eventually by encouraging people or by having a platform that reaches a lot of people”.

Very honored with the award, Ana Garcia Martins made a point of highlighting the achievement, which takes place in the same year that her blog celebrates two decades. “Receiving this award this year is particularly special. It’s 20 years of ‘Pipoca Mais Doce’. Therefore, it is still a great pride that something that started as a pure joke, 20 years later, not only still exists, but continues to be a relevant and award-winning project. It makes me very happy”said the 43-year-old comedian.

After being part of TVI’s ‘Big Brother’ as a commentator, and being a contestant on SIC’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen Famosos’, Ana Garcia Martins is back on the small screen. The digital influencer joins Ana Galvão and Bárbara Guimarães in ‘We Have to Talk’, a new program on SIC Mulher, which premiered on Friday, April 19th. “It’s a conversation program. I accepted the challenge from SIC Mulher not only because of the format of the program, but also because of my fellow presenters. I like to talk and have this active voice”he confessed, ensuring that he does not have other projects for now.

Despite feeling excited about the new program, ‘Pipoca’ still does not have television as a priority. “For me, being on television is not a priority, because I have many other things that fulfill me. I would only accept an invitation to television if it was a project that made sense to me”.
