This Sunday (28), Whindersson Nunes revealed that he has been through situations similar to the plot of “Bebê Rena”. One of the most watched series on Netflix in Brazil currently, the production follows aspiring comedian Donny Dunn, played by Richard Gadd, who was stalked and abused by a woman over the course of a few years.

According to Whindersson, he has had four stalkers. “Four people like those from the series ‘Baby Rena’ have passed through my life, three women and one man. The guy saw me as a God, life would only work if I led the way. The other, a lady who has been sending me messages for five years (until today). She fights with me, apologizes. ‘She’s sorry I don’t open her messages’, as if she has a relationship with me that I don’t participate in”he began.

“Another haunted me for two years. I went to some places where I performed, sent photos outside… I took that one, and then I never heard about it again. I won’t tell you the other one because it’s very specific, and she didn’t do anything to me either, it was just strange what happened”, continued.

He then explained why he identified with the attraction. “When I watched this series I was able to understand that some people have a fascination for the person instead of love or affection, I don’t know how scaring someone can show love, huh. My grandmother told me: ‘You’re going to see something, my friend’”concluded.

“Baby Reindeer” premiered on April 11 and achieved a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. The production revolves around the experiences of Richard Gadd, creator and protagonist of the series, who was pursued by a woman for four years.
