This Monday (29.04) Kayky Brito shared a video on his Instagram feed to interact with his fans. He hadn’t appeared on social media for a while and decided to update his followers on his recovery process eight months after suffering the accident in Rio de Janeiro.
“Hi, how are you? I imagine that a lot of people must be asking: ‘Hey, Kayky, he’s gone, is everything okay?’, I’m fine, thank God, I’m recovering, physically, mentally. For example, now I’m in the act cycling, I’m cycling, but I stopped to talk to you, I owe a lot of my life to you”, he began.
“I have two huge screws in my hip, but they don’t hurt. What hurts is when I put my hand on the handlebars, because of the scars, I think I got 50 stitches […] I’m slowly recovering, I’m coming back, cycling is something I really enjoy and I feel really good. God is good all the time! I hope all is well with you wherever you are! I love you,” she added.
The 36-year-old actor was run over in September last year, as he left a kiosk on Barra da Tijuca beach, in Rio de Janeiro. He was admitted to the ICU and was in a coma, with head trauma. After two months, he was discharged and continues to recover at home.
