ES baby goes viral for resemblance to Vin Diesel
It was only supposed to be the celebration of the 5th month anniversary, but a post on a social network made by little Athos’ mother was enough for the resemblance between the baby and actor Vin Diesel, famous for his character in ‘The Fast and the Furious’, to go viral on the Internet (watch above). In total, the publication has already reached more than 526 thousand views.
“He was always not giggly, really!” said the baby’s mother, Ana Beatriz Fabres, 22 years old.
According to the mother, Athos’s 5th month anniversary was celebrated on January 28th. The publication, however, was made on April 28 and went viral.
The publication has four photos. In the first of them, there is an image of the character Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel in the Fast and Furious franchise, with the following caption:
“I gave birth to a MINI TORRETO and I can prove it haha’
Soon after, it is possible to see several photos of Athos dressed as the character. In addition to his more serious appearance, the baby wears a t-shirt, sneakers, lanyard and even a bracelet.
Among the comments are praise for the baby and also people who point out the similarities.
“More similar than Bryan, Toretto’s son”, commented an internet user on the post.
Comparison from two months of life
‘First time’ dads Ana Beatriz and Mateus Rodrigues, 23 years old, make a point of having small celebrations every month of their son’s life.
“We create themes according to the month, according to what is happening. When there is an important milestone in his life. I say that when he is older, I want to tell him what happened during each month” , said Ana.
The mother also said that from the second month of life, Athos was already compared to ‘Toretto’ by people close to him. That’s where the idea for the party theme came from.
“I decided to do it on my 5th birthday, we chose the same look as Vin Diesel, we were surprised when it was ready”, he recalled.
Several Brazilian humor pages echoed the celebration. In one of them, a post that compared Athos and Toretto had almost 200 thousand likes.
“We still can’t believe what’s happening. On Friday, we had 16 followers, and now we have 36 thousand followers and videos in the millions. It all happened very quickly, Athos was sleeping, when he woke up he was famous”, joked the mother.
Other birthday themes
In addition to ‘Fast and Furious’, Athos has been Boss Baby (2 months), New Year (4 months), Easter Bunny (7 months) and Zezé from ‘The Incredibles’ (8 months).
“And that’s it, so each month we decide. It’s been an adventure, today we’re going to do the ‘Incredibles’ one. Then we live, it’s been a delight”, celebrated Ana.
