The 41-year-old priest jumped into the spotlight after a report by Jornal de Notícias in 2018, ending up becoming a television star, book author and influencer with a strong presence on social media. And he continues to surprise.
This time with participation in a fashion show, which he himself announced through his official Facebook page.
“It was an incredible experience. A magical night. Being able to parade in the 30th anniversary of Paulo Gouveia’s clothing brand, in the city of Póvoa do Varzim”, he writes in a publication, which includes several images from the parade and has a few thousand likes, hundreds of comments and dozens of shares.
“The theme, the people who paraded, every moment was extraordinarily magnificent”, notes Father Ricardo Esteves, adding a thank you for the invitation.
Remember that the priest became known for his lifestyle, extra pastoral activity, with visits to the gym, love of motorbikes and participation in parties among his youth. It was, in fact, during the time he was a parish priest in the parishes of Seixas and Lanhelas in Caminha, that he created a group of young people dedicated to carrying out solidarity activities.
Initially reserved, he ended up opening up to the media space, participating in reports and even television programs, mainly on TVI with Manuel Luís Goucha and Cristina Ferreira.
Currently, he is very active on social media – on Facebook he has more than 70 thousand followers – with frequent publications of positive messages and calls for reflection.
This Sunday, he already published one dedicated to Mother’s Day: “Today is Mother’s Day! My mother’s day, your mother’s day, our mother’s day! And you know, having a mother who still takes care of us, even though we are adults, is a blessing”.
