Infanta Sofia of Spain turned 17 years old a few days ago, on April 29th. One year away from reaching maturity, Sofia has lived her life in the shadow of her older sister, Leonor, heiress to the Throne of Spain. The Spanish publication ‘Semana’ asked psychologist Lara Ferreiro to outline some of Sofia’s personality characteristics. “If Princess Leonor is shyer, more reserved, on the other hand, Infanta Sofia – says those who know her – has a strong sense of duty, is very complacent“, highlights the psychologist who sees the infant as a loyal girl, a good companion, who helps and has empathy with others. “She has that freedom that comes from knowing that the focus is more on her sister”, explains Lara Ferreiro. From Letizia, Sofia inherited perfectionism and charisma. A psychologist also establishes that Infanta Sofia has a “sense of humor, is mature and responsible”.
