Horse was taken by the Fire Department to Ulbra Veterinary Hospital. Mariângela Allgayer, professor and veterinarian, informed that her team is taking care of the animal. He was rescued earlier after being trapped on the roof of a house for about five days.

To UOL, the veterinarian gave more details about Caramelo’s care. “The animal arrived sedated, was warmed, dried, parameters measured, intravenous hydration. He returned from sedation, was placed in the bays. He is eating and receiving hay [mistura de plantas ceifadas e secas].”
Animal was seen balancing on the roof of a house. The scene was caught by a TV Globo helicopter, which was covering the floods in the city of Canoas, one of the most punished, and went viral on social media.
