Jundiaí continues, this Monday (1), with the vaccination campaign against Influenza (flu) for the population aged 60 and over. Doses are available at Basic Health Units (UBSs), New UBSs and Family Clinics, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
In the city, the application is being staggered to ensure faster service, reducing the waiting time that can be generated in health services. More than 77 thousand elderly people must be immunized in the Municipality.
To receive the vaccine, you must present a document with CPF. Registration will be made in the information system, following determinations of the Ministry of Health.
“It is important that this public seeks the vaccine, which is updated every year to protect against the main strains of influenza in circulation. Elderly people who go to health facilities can also take advantage and receive a booster against Covid-19, if the last dose was more than six months ago. This population is the most susceptible to worsening of both diseases”, warns the coordinator of Epidemiological Surveillance, a UGPS body, nurse Maria do Carmo Possidente.
