Arapongas City Hall has been intensifying the task force to combat dengue throughout the city. Through an integrated action between the Health Secretariat – Endemic Disease Control, the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture, Public Services and the Environment (Seaspma) and also the Municipal Security Secretariat (Sestran), this Tuesday, 2nd, the services went through the Jardim Primavera neighborhoods, with the total demolition of the old Curtume (between Ruas Fogo Apagou and Carão) and also in Jardim Aeroporto (Rua Teu Teu), with cleaning of an abandoned land. At this point, a large accumulation of rubbish has been removed. “Here the residence is classified as abandoned. According to information from residents of the region, at night it was frequented by drug users. We found several mosquito outbreaks, which have now been eliminated. Same situation as the old tannery”, highlighted the coordinator of Endemic Disease Control, Valdecir Pardini. According to Pardini, the entire city is being mapped and monitored. “Our municipality has several residences in a state of alert. It is necessary to double your attention. Remembering that owners can be notified in case of irregularities. This fight is joint,” he said. According to the secretary of Seaspma, Renan Rodrigues Manoel, the population must help the municipality, with cleaning, inspection and also complaints. “Everyone must do their part. Avoid the accumulation of water, keep yards clean and, if necessary, file reports,” he reinforced.
The broad front of work to combat dengue has already covered the neighborhoods: Vila Nova, Jardim Bandeirantes, Jardim Aeroporto, Conjunto Águias, Jardim Primavera, Conjunto São Carlos and Colúmbia and Cj. Palmares, in addition to the routine actions carried out by agents to combat endemic diseases (ACE’s) throughout the municipality.

Important Tips:
– Keep the water tank closed and clean
– Do not leave water accumulated on the slabs
– Keep tires in covered areas until correct disposal
– Keep the yard clean and trash bins covered
– Wash pet water poles at least twice a week
– Always leave the toilet lid closed.
