The writer was working on a new Shardlake novel, Ratcliffbut the worsening of his health made progress painfully slow”, said his editor Maria Rejt, from Pan Macmillan, quoted in a statement sent by LeYa/ASA.
J. Sansom studied at the University of Birmingham. He earned a doctorate in History and practiced law. He made his fiction debut 21 years ago with Dissolutionthe first volume in the series Shardlake. This was adapted for television Dissolution – A Shardlake Mystery and will debut on Disney+ on May 1st, the date on which the new edition of bestseller will reach Portuguese bookstores.
