Gustav Sayn-Wittgenstein is the son of Princess Benedita – who turns 80 this Monday – and became a father for the second time last Friday, April 26th. The news was only given this Monday.
“A spokesperson confirms that Their Highnesses Prince Gustav and Princess Carina became parents for the second time. They had a daughter. Everyone is well and very happy. The baby was born on Friday, April 26”, indicates the House Real in a statement released by the local press.
Just like the couple’s first child – a boy, who is 11 months old – the baby was also born through surrogacy.
Princess Benedita’s sixth granddaughter was born in a hospital in the United States and the girl’s parents, both 55 years old, were present. The Berleburg princes followed the same procedure with the girl as they did with their eldest son, Gustav Albrecht, who came into the world on May 26, 2023, being exactly 11 months older than his sister.
