This Thursday (28), the Ministry of Health released the list of new cities that will receive the vaccine (see full list below).

The cities are located in 11 Health Regions, which are formed by border municipalities that share communication networks and transport infrastructure. The purpose of these regions is to integrate the organization, planning and execution of health actions and services.

Dose redistribution

According to the ministry, there are 668 thousand doses that will expire on April 30, 523 thousand in June and 84 thousand in July. To prevent these doses from being unused, the ministry determined the redistribution of immunization agents.

“We cannot let these doses expire. Given this, the Ministry came up with a solution: redistribute, within the federated units, that is, within the states, to municipalities that have not yet been covered”, said Éder Gatti, director of the Department of the National Immunization Program (DPNI).
