The Flu Vaccination Campaign continues in the UBSs (Basic Health Units) of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste. Doses are available at the units on the list below, from Monday to Friday (except holidays and optional points), without the need for an appointment. According to data from the Ministry of Health’s RNDS (National Health Data Network) website, 3,913 doses have already been administered in the Municipality. The initiative follows the determinations of the Ministry of Health and the State Department of Health, which define the target audiences and the campaign period, which this year will run until May 31st.

The following groups are eligible to receive the Influenza (flu) vaccine: children from 6 months to under 6 years of age (5 years, 11 months and 29 days), pregnant women, postpartum women, indigenous and quilombola peoples, health workers , individuals aged 60 or over, teachers in public and private schools, people with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions, people with permanent disabilities, professionals in the security and rescue forces and the armed forces, truck drivers, public road transport workers for urban and long-distance passengers, port workers, prison system employees, teenagers and young people aged 12 to 21 under socio-educational measures, the population deprived of liberty and people living on the streets.

To receive the dose, it is necessary to present a personal document with photo, CPF or SUS Card, in addition to some document that proves belonging to the eligible group, when applicable.

All professionals in priority groups must prove their performance by means of a payslip, badge or class council card to receive the vaccine.

In the case of children, parents or guardians must present the minors’ routine vaccination record.

People with comorbidities must present a prescription, report or medical letter proving the condition. In the case of individuals with permanent disabilities, they can only self-declare.

The opening hours of the vaccination rooms must be consulted in each unit, by telephone or in person.
