SÃO LUÍS – Multivaccination against flu/influenza continues this Sunday (28) at Rio Anil Shopping in the Turu neighborhood, in São Luís. According to the State Department of Health (SES), the objective of the campaign is to raise the indicators of vaccination coverage in Maranhão.
“The strategy aims to achieve the levels of vaccination coverage established by the Ministry of Health, with the offer of doses for the entire family”, explained the superintendent of Epidemiology and Disease Control at SES, Dalila de Nazaré Vasconcelos dos Santos.
This Sunday, at Rio Anil Shopping, the action takes place in the afternoon, from 2pm to 8pm. To get vaccinated, simply bring your vaccination card and official document with photo.

Vaccination against influenza is the most effective way to minimize the burden of the virus, reduce flu symptoms, prevent complications resulting from the disease and avoid hospitalizations and deaths. To be vaccinated, you must present your identity document and vaccination card.
Influenza is a viral infection that affects the respiratory system, with great transmission potential, which can take on more serious forms and even cause the death of people more vulnerable to the disease.
