Mobile health unit will serve 3 neighborhoods this week in Porto Alegre

The mobile unit of the Municipal Health Department (SMS) will serve residents of the Lomba do Pinheiro, Lageado and Anchieta neighborhoods during the week. This Monday, 29th, the bus parks at Quinta do Portal, Lomba do Pinheiro neighborhood, from 9am to 3:30pm. Against the flu, vaccination will be accessible to priority groups.

Medical and nursing consultations, cytopathology collection to prevent cervical cancer, pregnancy test, application of injectable medication, dressing and removal of stitches will be available. Communities will also have access to prenatal consultations, rapid tests for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B and C, blood pressure and glucose checks, childcare consultations, referrals to specialists, distribution of simple prescription medicines and prescription updates.

On Wednesday, the May 1st holiday, and on Friday the 3rd, there will be no service.

• Monday, 29: Quinta do Portal, Escolinha Portal Encantado (Rua Jaime Lino dos Santos Filho, 604, Lomba do Pinheiro neighborhood) – 9am to 3:30pm
• Tuesday, 30: Esporte Clube Lageado (Avenida Edgar Pires de Castro, 9316, Lageado neighborhood) – 9am to 3:30pm
• Thursday, 2nd: Vila Dique Residents Association (Avenida Dique, 855, Anchieta neighborhood) – 9am to 4pm
