For the fourth consecutive weekend, Guarulhos City Hall opened eight Basic Health Units (UBS), from 7am to 5pm, in addition to four advanced structures, from 7am to 7pm, through the Atende Já Dengue program to receive patients with dengue symptoms. In total, 1,627 people were treated in 12 health units this Saturday (27) and Sunday (28).
The UBS also updated the vaccination card along with four UBS operating under the Saúde Agora program on Saturday. As a result, 284 people who are part of the priority groups to receive the flu dose were immunized, 150 vaccination cards were updated and 108 doses of the dengue vaccine were administered to young people between ten and 14 years old.
The number of people vaccinated against dengue in the city is 30,194 to date and the number of people infected with Aedes aegypti has reached 42,231 since the beginning of the year. The strategy of the City of Guarulhos with the opening of units on weekends aims to provide more agile care for patients affected by dengue, remembering that the additional structures, attached to the UPAs Paulista, São João and Cumbica, in addition to PA Paraventi, are reinforcements that operate from Monday to Sunday from 7am to 7pm.
It is worth mentioning that both the advanced structures and the UBS that open on weekends are prepared to receive patients with dengue symptoms such as high fever, pain in the body, joints and behind the eyes, malaise, headache and red spots. in the skin. Balance of the Saúde Agora program
With the opening of UBS São Ricardo, Rosa de França, Bananal and Uirapuru through the Saúde Agora program on Saturday, 147 medical and 131 nursing consultations were carried out, in addition to 97 Pap smears and 126 visits to pharmacies.
