The City of São Luís, through the municipal departments of Health (Semus) and Traffic and Transport (SMTT), will carry out vaccination against influenza (flu) at the Integration Terminals, this May. The action has a defined schedule and the vaccine is intended exclusively for people who are included in the target audience defined by the Ministry of Health.
The initiative aims to expand access to vaccination rooms, considering that Integration Terminals are high-traffic locations.
Vaccination will take place from 8am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm, at the Terminals of Praia Grande (2nd May), Cohab (3rd May), São Cristóvão (6th May), Distrito Industrial (7th May ) and Cohama (May 8).
The public eligible to receive the vaccine, which protects against the main viruses circulating in Brazil, is made up of:
– Children aged 6 months to under 6 years of age (5 years, 11 months and 29 days)
– People aged 60 and over
– Pregnant women
– Postpartum women
– Indian people
– Health workers
– Teachers from public and private schools
– Adolescents under 18 years of age under socio-educational measures
– Population deprived of liberty (18 years and over)
– Prison system employees
– People with chronic non-communicable diseases and other special clinical conditions (proof required)
– Quilombolas
– People with permanent disabilities (from 12 years old)
– Professionals from security and rescue forces and the armed forces
– People living on the streets
– Truck drivers
– Urban and long-distance public road passenger transport workers
– Ports
In addition to the Terminals, vaccination against influenza continues to take place normally in the health units of the municipal network, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm; at Saúde na Hora units, on Saturdays, from 8am to 12pm; and at São Luís Shopping (exit E, next to the BB ATMs, from 10am to 4pm.
To be vaccinated, you must present your identity document and vaccination card.
