Lorena City Hall, in partnership with the Oncology League of the Faculty of Medicine of Taubaté, will promote the 18th Cancer Prevention Campaign in the municipality. Several preventive exams will be carried out on Saturday, May 18, from 8 am, at the UBS in the Vila Nunes neighborhood.

To participate, you must make a prior appointment at the UBS itself, completely free of charge.

The following services will be offered:
• Preventive exam (Pap smear) for all women aged 25 to 65;
• Clinical breast examination (not mammography) for all women, mainly aged between 50 and 69 years, who have a history of breast cancer in the family or with suspicions/symptoms;
• Prostate exam for all men over 50;
• Skin assessment for the entire population with complaints of blemishes, warts suggestive of skin cancer (mycoses or other dermatitis will not be assessed);
• Mouth assessment for the entire population, to examine lesions suggestive of cancer, mainly prosthesis users and smokers.
