A man cheated on women behind a fake social network profile Facebook where he said his name was “Filipe Santos”. The 41-year-old man, divorced from Barcelos and father of two minor children, won the trust of a 34-year-old woman, according to the Morning mail.

This trust quickly turned into a “stronger” relationship and the couple even planned a wedding.

The man won over the woman with whom he had a wedding scheduled at Santuária do Sameiro, in Braga, for August 10, 2019, but a few months before, with the dress already purchased, the farm rented and the photographer hired, the bride discovered, through a family member, who was being deceived. The groom, after all, used an assumed name and was not single, as he claimed.

After the separation, the man pursued the victim. He created more than 30 fake Facebook and Instagram profiles with his ex-fiancée’s name using them to send threatening and insulting messages.

To the Judiciary Police, the defendant said that he “loved” his ex-fiancée and that’s why he tried to contact her insistently.
