Nuno Mendes has exertion myalgia and missed training this Tuesday for the national team. The left-back is therefore in doubt for Portugal’s debut in the World Cup, which will take place on Thursday, against Ghana.

The PSG player stayed in the gym doing recovery work.

25 players took to the pitch, including Pepe who appears to be recovering his physical form, as confirmed in a press conference by central Rúben Dias, highlighting the importance of having the experienced defender: I’m happy for him because it was definitely a hard stop for him and the fact that he’s here and physically well is definitely an important factor for him and for all of us.”
