Gustavo Reinas wins “The Voice Portugal”. He is the youngest-ever winner of the Television-show

At just 16 years old, Gustavo Reinas won the tenth edition of “The Voice Portugal”. The final gala of the talent show took place this Sunday, January 22nd, and there were four finalists competing in the last public vote. Marisa Liz’s team was represented by Gustavo Reinaldo, Carolina Deslandes tried to win the competition with Paulo Lapa, Diogo Piçarra supported Rebeca Reinaldo and Dino d’Santiago wanted Coastel to win.

Gustavo Reinas took the stage one last time with a song by his mentor’s band, “Rosa Sangue”. He ended up being the public’s favorite and took home first place in this 10th edition of the RTP1 talent show. He is the youngest winner ever, ahead of Tomás Adrião, Marvi and Rodrigo Lourenço, who won the respective editions aged 17.

The winner of “The Voice Portugal” is from Nelas, district of Viseu. He is still in the 11th grade, but, along with his interest in music, he would like to study Law or Public Relations. Even so, these areas are nothing more than a plan B, since what he really wants is to make a living from music, and he has been in contact with this area since he was 8 years old, reads on the RTP website.

The 2022/2023 edition of “The Voice Portugal”, a contest presented by Catarina Furtado and Vasco Palmeirim, came to an end this Sunday, January 22nd. Marisa Liz continues ahead of the competition judges, with four wins in total.

RTP1 is also already preparing a new season of “The Voice Kids”, the children’s version of “The Voice Portugal”. The blind tastings started on January 10th and although there is still no defined premiere date, the start of the competition is scheduled for March, according to “TV7 Dias”. Returning to the panel of mentors are Carlão, Bárbara Tinoco, Fernando Daniel – who won the last edition with Maria Gil – and Áurea, who makes her debut in the children’s format.
