“Gumball à Tuga”, promoted by two friends from Ponte de Lima, with a passion for old cars, will have its first edition on the 27th, 28th and 29th of March. The challenge is to do the Northern Route, with Vila Limiana as the starting and finishing point. It will be more than 800 kilometers in three days.
A team from Viana do Castelo, João Bompastor and Nuno Carvalhosa, aboard a Datsun 1200 Deluxe Trophy, will participate in this event with the purpose of publicizing and raising funds for the International Catholic Association at the Service of Female Youth of Viana do Castelo ( ACISJF-Viana do Castelo).
This association aims to fully promote young females at social risk and single mothers and/or single-parent families, deprived of their family environment, victims of physical and psychological abuse, with socioeconomic and professional insertion difficulties. It offers guidance and responds to the needs of young people who are outside their country or family, without distinction of culture, race or religion.
