Portuguese Richie Campbell is the most recent confirmation on the Southwest Festivalwhich will take place between the 17th and 10th of August at Herdade da Casa Branca, in Zambujeira do Mar.
The Lisbon-born artist will take to the main stage on the 9th, a day that will also feature a performance by Brazilian singer Anitta.
Ricardo Dias de Lima Ventura da Costa, better known as Richie Campbell, is the first major internet musical phenomenon in Portugal with success on a national and international scale.
With a musical eclecticism, in which he mixes R&B, reggae, dancehall and afrobeat, the 37-year-old musician has become one of the country’s biggest musical exporters and will take to the stage the themes from the brand new “Heartbreak & Other Stories”.
The festival organizers also confirmed the presence of North American rapper Rich the Kid on August 8th. A day earlier, it will be the turn of the North American rapper Teezo Touchdown perform at Herdade da Casa Branca.
The Sudoeste Festival takes place from the 7th to the 10th of August, at Herdade da Casa Branca, in Zambujeira do Mar. For true festival-goers, camping starts on the 3rd of August.
Martin Garrix, who has already performed three times at this festival, and the Portuguese band Da Weasel, who returns almost 20 years later, are some of the headliners.
