Constanze lost track of Tom, a co-worker with whom she has a romantic relationship. Marc, a sort of alter-ego of the Author, hesitates in the construction of his characters. Timo plays Helge Gonzensheimer in a job interview that goes completely wrong. Lisa is pregnant, which drives Constanze to despair. We have to invest in the firm, the real family, the baby. Max finds himself on the brink of the abyss, from exhaustion to madness just one step away. Everyone tries to communicate with someone, but language escapes them. Enclosed within themselves, the characters in At Two Hours in the Morning lose themselves in a labyrinth of soliloquies that propels them into the abyss of solitude.
