The party and toast to The Lucky Duckies’ 37-year career will be held on stage at the Cartaxo Wine Festival, on the night of April 26th, where Marco António and Cláudia Faria’s band will have the opening honors of the event.

The day before, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the April revolution, the band also celebrates its foundation but chose to leave the party for the Cartaxo concert the following day, in order to have the party surrounded by its audience. Cartaxo was, interestingly, an important city for the journey of The Lucky Duckies. “It was Cartaxo that launched our career when we started playing in some clubs in the municipality. We do not deny our Ribatejo origins and the importance of our cities at the beginning of our career”, recalls the band’s lead singer, Marco António, to O MIRANTE, who confesses another curiosity that is less known to the public. “The first kiss I gave Cláudia was at the old Lips do Cartaxo nightclub”, says the band’s founder, evoking a happy moment that immortalized Cartaxo forever in the lives of The Lucky Duckies.
