After our alert to the City Council and Health delegate and after a city employee went to this building to check the situation, the situation of the release of sewage wastewater from an outlet of a ventilation pipe to the rear of this building. The situation has worsened recently with the release of more sewage onto public roads and the smell is very intense. There are many insects and worms in the area.”
“Children who play in this playground, the cats in the council colony and all the residents of these neighboring buildings are at risk to their health. It appears that the owner of the floor identified by the employee who came to check the situation was notified in writing so that within a stipulated period the owner would be obliged to repair what was incorrect but it appears that he did nothing and we despair over this situation.” After contacting the City Council in the person of councilman Carlos Amaro, we were told that the owner of the apartment causing the situation had been notified again and given a new deadline to resolve the problem,
