The Caldas das Taipas artistic cycle is once again organizing several free activities to enjoy in the spring and summer season this year. Starting in May, there is music, workshops, cinema, among others, to enjoy Guimarães until September.
Thus, Banhos Velhos is in its 13th edition with a lineup that includes Conjunto Corona, ZEN, Máquina and Capitão Fausto. The latter is described by the organization as “a long-awaited return”, on September 20th.
In 2023, around 20 thousand people were registered to participate in the Caldelas summer cultural program. All activities can also return to their original space, after the requalification works in the center of Taipas.
When presenting the poster, Paulo Lopes Silva from the Municipality of Guimarães and José Manuel Gomes from Taipas Termal, did not want to set goals for this year, but assured that they intend to “continue the good relationship that this artistic cycle has with the community and the local economy, as well as the size and visibility that Banhos Velhos has in the national territory and even in Galicia”.
