He was, as a Brazilian citizen and as a politician, even before the elections, opposed, criticized and condemned the invasion. And then, when elected, he immediately condemned the invasion and referred to the constitutional right to territorial integrity. Now, at the same time, he repeatedly says that Brazil is against war, against any violence and that there is a need for peace and to negotiate peace. So much so that we participate in all the conversations that exist, all the negotiation mechanisms. We will send representatives to the meeting in Austria, as we have already sent to the others. In Russia’s initiatives we also always rule. Now, the president’s position is that he has to sit on both sides. There is no point in discussing just one side, just the side of those who support Ukraine. There has to be both sides, the two direct interlocutors. Brazil has dialogue with both countries. So, we want to promote peace and negotiations. This is the position regarding the Ukraine issue. Regarding Gaza, Brazil, and the president personally, condemned the acts of Hamas on October 7 [que fizeram 1200 mortos] and considered terrorists, without a doubt. We are in favor of the arrival of humanitarian aid and not in drops or being thrown from a plane, in the amount necessary to serve the population. It is necessary to serve the 2 million and 200 thousand Palestinians and other nationalities who live and are homeless, there is no longer any infrastructure, there is nothing left. So this is our very clear position regarding both.
