As has been tradition, the Arentim Cultural, Sports and Recreational Association, in Braga, will promote the XXXIV Fishing Competition. The initiative will take place in Viana do Castelo, on May 1st.
According to Carlos Macedo, member of the Board of Directors of ACDR of Arentim, the competition, in addition to the competitive component, aims to be a moment of conviviality and leisure.
The race starts at 07:00, with concentration on the stairs, between Navio Gil Eanes and Ponte Velha. Once the competition is over, a social lunch will follow at the ACDR headquarters in Arentim, ending with the awarding of prizes, raffles and a football game between married and single people.

- 07:00 – Concentration in Viana do Castelo on the “stairs” between the Gil Eanes Ship and Ponte Velha
- 07:15 – Draw and departure to the fishing grounds
- 07:50 – Engaging
- 08:00 – Start of the test
- 2:00 – End of the test
- 13:30 – Lunch at headquarters
- 15:30 – Prize delivery and draw at ACDR headquarters, followed by a game between singles and married couples.
