The Alcácer do Sal Chamber approved, on Wednesday, a proposal for the access project to the Carrasqueira Stilt Wharf.
This project aims to improve access to the site in question, both in relation to local fishing and the creation of new opportunities related to nature preservation and the use of cultural and landscape heritage.
The project, which emerged following a request from the city council executive, was preceded by several opinions from various external entities, taking into account the existing easements and public utility restrictions.
The Alentejo Regional Development Commission (CCDRA) gave a favorable decision, as written in article 13.º-A of the Urbanization and Building Code. The execution project is estimated at 544,044.19 euros.
