The company produces subassemblies for Airbus and intends to expand the team to 350 people at the Santo Tirso unit. It promises “very competitive working conditions”, productivity bonuses and health insurance, for example.

Airbus Atlantic wants to recruit another 50 workers by the end of the year and end 2024 with a total of 350 at its unit in Santo Tirso. The aim is to become an “aeronautical reference in the country”.

The company specializes in the production of “a wide range of subassemblies for the various Airbus programs”, namely the A320 aircraft.

In a statement, it is known that it is hiring professionals for roles ranging from the assembly line to engineering, as well as other technical roles. With regard to contracted assembly operators, Airbus Atlantic guarantees specialized training through a partnership with the Professional Training Center for the Metallurgical and Metalworking Industry (CENFIM).

In addition to this, a plan is underway to attract and retain talent, associated with a policy of continuous training and mentoring. This chapter includes factors such as “very competitive working conditions”, with productivity bonuses, subsidies depending on the position held and opportunities for salary progression associated with progress within the company. There is also the possibility of subscribing to a transport service and health insurance.

The factory in Portugal is located in Santo Tirso, has an area of ​​20 thousand square meters and production began in 2020. In global terms, it is present in 5 countries on 3 different continents and has 13,500 workers.
