Researcher Maria Augusta is the CDU’s representative for the European Elections for Vila Verde, the party announced this Monday.
Maria Augusta was a higher education professor and president of the Ministry of Education’s Working Group for the Commemorations of the Portuguese Discoveries.
The names of the district’s municipal representatives were publicly presented in an event held in Braga, in Largo de São Francisco.
The “kick-off” fell to Sandra Cardoso, representative in Braga, who stated that the CDU has 14 people who “in a generous and committed way” accepted the commitment to represent the CDU candidacy in the district’s councils and “give the do your best to reinforce the CDU in these elections”.
