The finalists in the ten voting categories for the Awards of the Hotel, Restaurant and Similar Association of Portugal2024 are now known. This eighth edition was the most competitive ever, with more than 400 applications, and with the particularity of AHRESP having traveled the country to identify candidate projects. Voting takes place from April 25th to May 20th at https://premiosahresp.com.pt/#votacoes.
For three months, AHRESP traveled the country from North to South, and also the Azores and Madeira islands, to identify projects that met the characteristics to be candidates for the Awards. This commitment by AHRESP is reflected in the list of finalists, which translates into broad territorial coverage.
AHRESP renamed the Career Award category, which was renamed the Mário Pereira Gonçalves Award, in honor of the previous president of AHRESP, who led the Association for more than forty years.
The Selection Committee that evaluated the applications is made up of thirty-nine individuals with high technical knowledge in the areas represented.
The winners will be announced at the gala that will take place on June 21st, in the Salão Preto e Prata at Casino Estoril, in the presence of around 600 guests, and will feature a presentation by journalist Sara Pinto.
