The Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC) will run, from May 2nd to May 31st, the application period for Portuguese language mastery assessment tests for those interested in master’s degrees in Teaching for the academic year 2024/25.
The training will take place at the Escola Superior de Educação and, until the end of May, candidates will have to fill out the following form (available from May 2nd).
In a statement, the institution states that, “with experience and recognition in the market, the Masters in Teaching at the Polytechnic of Viana do Castelo are an important element of this institution’s training offer in the field of teacher training”.
“These are Masters in Teaching courses that aim to train qualified professionals, with scientific and pedagogical autonomy and, at the same time, promote educational practices appropriate to the context in which they will teach, involving the deepening of their knowledge in the area of teaching and didactics. , as well as knowledge of a general educational nature. These master’s degrees also allow graduates to develop their ability to teach in practical educational situations”, it can be read.
Until May 31st, the 1st phase of registration for the Assessment Tests for Written and Oral Mastery of the Portuguese Language for access to Masters in Professional Qualification for Teaching takes place.
IPVC offers three master’s degrees in this area: “Pre-School Education and Teaching the 1st Cycle of Basic Education”, “Teaching the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education” and “Teaching in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the 2nd cycle of Basic Education”.
The tests are mandatory for all those interested in applying for IPVC’s Masters in Teaching.
