Resialentejo joins SPV in action in Ovibeja

-

Resialentejo, an intermunicipal waste recovery company, is preparing to participate in another edition of Ovibeja, which starts tomorrow, April 30th, and runs until May 5th. In conjunction with Sociedade Ponto Verde (SPV), the objectives of this participation “involves continuing to inspire and raise awareness among the public of this event towards better behaviors in favor of sustainability, in addition to promoting the adoption of animals, from the intermunicipal kennel and cattery, CAGIA”.

Through this partnership, Resialentejo reinforces its proximity to the territories where it operates, allying itself with a recognized and fundamental entity in the pursuit of sustainability at national level, “fostering collaborative work between all partners”. In this way, it is possible to continue to highlight “the relevance of all agents in the value chain to collaborate when raising awareness among citizens about the correct separation and recycling of packaging“.

In this sense, the president of Resialentejo, Marcelo Guerreiro, considers that “Resialentejo’s presence at the largest agricultural fair at national level is essential, to continue reflecting on the future of waste management, in close collaboration with Sociedade Ponto Verde, a reference partner of the system. On the other hand, we want to raise awareness among participants in this event, letting them know about the work we have been developing in recent years”.

Recycle inside and outside the home

Demonstrating the need to recycle inside and outside the home, bringing good practices already used at home to larger events, such as Ovibeja, are other goals of this association between Resialentejo and SPV, through participation in this great agricultural event in our country.

“This is yet another initiative that reinforces the work that Sociedade Ponto Verde has been developing with its partners, with a view to promoting the collection of packaging waste. It is yet another reinforcement of a theme that we defend so much: everyone’s involvement and collaboration is necessary and essential to increase recycling rates in the country. It is, in fact, essential that we all come together to meet the challenging recycling targets proposed to us ”says, in turn, the CEO of Sociedade Ponto Verde, Ana Trigo Morais.
