The law firm DLA Piper promoted 63 lawyers to partners, in different practice areas, from 37 offices and in 18 countries and among the new partners is Mariana Ricardo, who is part of the Finance, Projects and Restructuring Department.

At a global level, the Litigation area is the one that registers the largest number of new partners at DLA Piper, with 16 promotions; followed by the Corporate area, with 13 new partners; 11 in Finance, Projects and Restructuring; and 10 in Intellectual Property and Technology.
Other practice groups include Labor and Real Estate with four promotions each, Tax and Regulatory with two promotions each and Pro Bono with one new promotion.
At a regional level, the USA recorded the highest number of promotions, with 20 new partners, followed by Continental Europe, with 17, Asia and the Middle East, with two each. Other countries include the United Kingdom with 10, Canada with 7, New Zealand with 3 and Australia with 2.
