Coldwell Banker, over five years of activity in Portugal, has already completed 2,500 transactions. These sales totaled a turnover of 400 million eurosincluding operations involving properties such as secular farms and private homes in Quinta da Marinha and Quinta Patino.

Of note, for example, is the sale of an apartment in Chiado for 27,000 euros/m² and a hotel for 10 million euros. Its portfolio currently includes a house in Quinta Patino that is for sale for 15 million euros, which demonstrates the diversity and scope of its activity.

Since starting its activities in Portugal in 2019, shortly before the start of the pandemic, Coldwell Banker has already recruited and trained 500 real estate consultants and since it arrived opened 14 branches. He dedicated 2000 hours to training his employees, ensuring that they are always prepared with the latest knowledge and best market practices.

Frederico Abecassis, CEO of the company in Portugal, highlights the success achieved in the last five years «despite several challenging circumstances, including confinement, geopolitical instability, national political changes and decisions that did not benefit the dynamics of the real estate market, as was the case with the end of golden visas».

«Despite all the constraints, the results obtained were very interesting and with the intentions already announced by this Government for the real estate market, we believe that we can have positive developments in the market», he adds.

In the first quarter of 2024, Coldwell Banker opened 3 new branches in Portugal and 35 branches in 10 countries. Globally, Coldwell Banker has 100,000 employees and 3,000 branches spread across 41 countries.
