The Portuguese Football Federation informed, this Tuesday, that the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, which opens the 2024/25 season, will be played on the 3rd or 4th of August, proving that every season is contested between the national champion of football and the winner of the Portuguese Cup.
On the other hand, the Portuguese Cup final will be on May 25, 2025, with the competition starting on September 7 and 8, when the 1st round will be played. The first division clubs start on October 18th and 19th, in the 3rd round.
