Jornal de Leiria – Play and recreation spaces redesigned in the Albergaria and Amieirinha Kindergartens

The Câmara da Marinha Grande will redesign the play and recreation spaces in the Albergaria and Amieirinha Kindergartens, for which a total investment of around 86 thousand euros is expected.

According to the municipality, “the construction of the play and recreation space in the Albergaria Kindergarten was awarded for 40,900 euros, plus VAT; and in the Amieirinha Kindergarten the work was carried out for the amount of 44,990 euros, plus VAT .”.

“Multifunctional equipment will be installed, suitable for the age groups of the educational establishments, and synthetic flooring will be created as an impact surface. For each of the school premises, the space was designed to function as a whole, alternating and combining active recreational zones with passive recreational zones, using materials suited to the defined functions and safeguarding the surrounding areas”, continues the municipality.

“In Albergaria, the area to be paved will be enlarged to mark games – snail, monkey and alphabet marigold. In Amieirinha, the pavement will have a monkey and alphabet marigold marked. These games allow you to dynamize the space, expand the designated area to play and ensure a more dynamic, transversal and inclusive use of the entire intervention area”, he also highlights.
