On the first weekend of May, Theatro Circo, in Braga, hosts the children’s show “Nuvens” and the conversation cycle “Contexto”.

Specially developed for children and young people and families (M/3), “Nuvens” returns to the small auditorium on Saturday, the 4th, at 11am and 3pm.

“Like people, all clouds are different. As with people, every time we look closely at the clouds, we see many new, different things. There is a beautiful mystery in the clouds. There is not? A poetic narrative that will make the public think and look at difference as vital to human connections and how each of us is unique, if we know how to look at ourselves”, says the synopsis.

Produced by Theatro Circo, “Nuvens” features interpretations by Joana Araújo and Ricardo Gomes, creators of the show together with Maria Mónica.

At 4pm on Saturday, the 4th, the “Context” cycle returns, where Theatro Circo proposes a series of conferences based on a show from its own programming to bring into conversation artists and people whose areas of activity intersect with themes and questions addressed in that work.

This time, the conversation takes place between choreographer Mariana Tengner Barros and actress Carolina Amaral, curated and moderated by Andreia Garcia.

“In this Context we will talk about the place of women in art, about metamorphosis, about cartographies of gesture and creation, about invisibility, about the place of speech, about experiences and challenges. Mariana Tengner Barros presented a choreographic creation around the enigma of the Almendres Cromeleque at Theatro Circo Threshold”, says the Braga venue.

Tickets for the show “Clouds available” at Theatro Circo, usual locations and online (HERE).
