After eight years of leading the Group in Portugal, Steven Braekeveldt will be replaced by Luís Menezes, at a time marked by the growth and consolidation of the Group’s operations in our country.
Lisbon, May 2, 2024 – Luís Menezes has solid experience as a manager of large companies, having been CEO of Unilabs Portugal, with leadership marked by a customer-centric strategy, and the recognition and appreciation of his more than three thousand Employees during the 18 years in which he coordinated and led its growth.
With a distinguished international career, Luís Menezes was also responsible for the Unilabs Group’s operations in the United Arab Emirates, Peru and the United Kingdom, having contributed to the significant growth in revenues globally as a member of the Group’s European Executive Committee for 8 years. years.
More recently, Luís Menezes was Senior Advisor on the Board of Directors of Explorer Investments, leader in Private Equity in Portugal, for the areas of Innovation and Technology, having had previous experiences at Fundação Ilídio Pinho and JP Morgan Chase, in London.

The transfer of testimony will be effective from October 1st. Until that date, Luís Menezes and Steven Braekeveldt will carry out a joint transition phase, which is considered important and healthy for the organization.
