We continue our tour of the spaces participating in the 2nd edition of the ‘Rota da Cerveja Artesanal’, now called ‘Duas de Letra’, with a visit to Divina Coxinha, a space located in the center of the city of Braga, on Rua dos Biscainhos, no. 9.
Remember that the ‘Duas de Letra’ itinerary is an initiative promoted by the Braga Business Association that promises to delight lovers of good craft beer and good snacks throughout the month of May. With the participation of 19 establishments, the initiative celebrates the harmony between the unique flavors of local cuisine and the rich diversity of craft beers made available by the LETRA brand.
Gabriela Rodrigues Pinheiro leads our visit to Divina Coxinha, an establishment specializing in Brazilian delicacies, highlighting snacks, served both in normal size and in miniature versions. Coxinhas, patties, cheese balls, pies, empanadas are just some examples of the snacks available. “There is a lot of diversity and the difficult thing is to choose”, notes Gabriela.
Divina Coxinha also offers party kits consisting of snacks and cakes.
This month, Divina Coxinha will promote the ‘Biggest coxinha in Portugal’ challenge, which consists of eating a coxinha weighing 2.5 kg in just ten minutes. Anyone who doesn’t manage to complete the challenge has to pay the 28 euros that this giant drumstick costs, but whoever overcomes it, in addition to not paying for the drumstick, also receives a free gift of 50 euros. To participate, you must place your order two days in advance.
Anyone who doesn’t know Divina Coxinha has an excellent excuse to do so by taking advantage of this ‘Duas de Letra’ itinerary. This space suggests a menu consisting of five assorted fried snacks, paired with LETRA F craft beer.
