Netflix also renewed “Bridgeton” for another hot season, where, this time, the story of Penelope and Colin will be toldand SkyShowTime will premiere the second season of “The Stalone Family”, one of the most famous and well-known families in Los Angeles.

“Shardlake” (Disney+, May 1)

“Shardlake” is set in the year 1536, and this murder mystery is based on the historical novels by CJ Sansom. Lawyer Matthew Shardlake (Arthur Hughes) finds his life turned upside down when Thomas Cromwell (Sean Bean) sends him to investigate a suspicious death at the remote monastery of Scarnsea. “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us” (Prime Video, May 9)

Based on the book saga of the same name by Mona Kasten, The new series tells the love story between James Beaufort (Damian Hardung) and Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten), a young man from high society and a working-class girl, in a setting full of prestige, secrets and drama. “Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies and Scandal” (Netflix, May 15)

When Ashley Madison, a dating site aimed at people looking for extramarital affairs, is the target of a cyber attack, the intimate details of millions of users are revealed and marriages and lives are destroyed across the world. With three episodes, this new documentary series aims to portray the creation of the site during the Internet bubble, the people who used the service to explore a facet of their love lives that they felt was missing, and what happened when dark desires, betrayals shameful scenes and the sexual secrets of millions of people were exposed to the whole world.

“The Stallone Family” (SkyShowtime, May 16)

In this second season, after four decades playing one of the most famous and well-known families in Los Angeles, USA, the Stallone family decides to leave Hollywood and move to the East Coast. With daughters Sophia and Sistine following their dreams in New York, and Scarlet settling into college and new love in Miami, it’s just the couple, Sly and Jen, who begin to put down roots in Palm Beach. “Bridgerton” (Netflix, May 16)

“Bridgerton” returns for a third season. Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally given up on her longtime crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). Although she remains determined to find a husband, her attempts at marriage go spectacularly wrong. Meanwhile, Colin has returned from summer vacation with a new look and new confidence, but is dismayed to realize that Penelope, the only person who has always liked him for who he was, is now ignoring him.

“99” (Prime Video, May 17)

This new documentary from Prime Video follows Manchester United’s astonishing journey to greatness with never-before-seen stories from the team’s locker room, revealing the conflicts, personal struggles and miraculous moments behind this legendary season. After 25 years and over the course of three episodes, “99” will recall the story of how, in 1999, the club made history by winning the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League. Sir Alex Ferguson, David Beckham, Andy Cole, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Peter Schmeichel and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are some of the names that are part of the documentary.

“Pauline” (Disney+, May 22)

The new Disney+ series follows Pauline (Sira-Anna Faal), an 18-year-old girl who ends up accidentally getting pregnant after a crazy night with Lukas (Ludger Bökelmann). As she tries to process this news, Pauline must also deal with the concerns typical of someone her age, but Once the child is born, the problems are different: her baby is possessed by the devil, and Pauline will have to face the supernatural implications of this situation. Not to say that she will discover that Lukas is, in fact, the Devil himself.

“Eric” (Netflix, May 30)

“Eric” is set in New York in the 1980s, where a father desperately searches for his 9-year-old son, who disappeared one morning on his way to school. Vincent (Benedict Cumberbatch), one of New York’s most famous puppeteers and creator of a television series for children, tries to deal with the difficult disappearance of his son, Edgar (Ivan Morris Howe), becoming increasingly distressed and unstable. Feeling guilty and with low self-esteem, he ends up focusing on the drawings his son made of a monstrous blue doll called Eric and becomes convinced that, if he can get the doll on television, Edgar will eventually come home.
