OSAE | Solicitors provide legal clarifications in public squares in several municipalities across the country

• “Justice in the Square” is the motto. And all citizens will be able to participate in this celebration, simply by going to the places where this action will take place to ask their legal questions.

A May 10th Solicitor’s Day is celebrated. In order to mark this anniversary and, at the same time, make the professions and their areas of intervention known, the Order of Solicitors and Execution Agents (OSAE), in collaboration with its Regional Councils and District Delegations, as well as with the support of the Municipal Councils, it will promote the “Justice in the Square” initiative.

Involving the entire community, this action will take place in different parts of the country and aims to reinforce proximity to citizens. In these municipalities, in one of their main squares, there will be a space where, at no associated cost, any citizen can talk to a solicitor and have legal doubts clarified.

“Solicitor’s Day becomes even more special when we are able to celebrate it with those who give meaning to our mission, that is, the citizens. Therefore, I can only reinforce the invitation for you to come to us, bring your questions and be part of this first edition of the ‘Justice in the Square’ initiative. Because, just like our daily mission, this action will only make sense with you”, highlights the President of OSAE, Paulo Teixeira.

• Braga: from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Avenida Central (next to the Bandstand)

• Viana do Castelo: from 10am to 1pm, at Praça do Município

• White Castle: from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the kiosk in Praça do Município (Docas)

• Setúbal: from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, at the Central Space on Avenida Luísa Todi

• Funchal: from 10am to 1pm, at Largo do Chafariz

• Leiria: from 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at the Civic Center

• Guard: from 10:00 to 17:00, at Praça Luís de Camões

• Castro Daire: from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in Jardim Municipal

• Bragança: from 11am to 4pm, at Largo dos Correios (next to the Jornaleiro statue)

• Coimbra: from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm, at the headquarters of the Coimbra Regional Council, Avenida Fernão Magalhães, stores 167 to 169
